Jérôme Vassereau (Pneu, La Colonie De Vacances, Binidu … ), Julien Sénélas ( Funken, Awards, The Fox Heads …) et Soia proposent une version inédite de In C, l’oeuvre phare de Terry Riley. Une nouvelle interprétation avec deux synthétiseurs modulaires (11 oscillateurs) accompagnée d’une création graphique (53 formes).
Composée en 1964 par Terry Riley, In C est considérée comme l'oeuvre fondatrice du courant minimaliste. A l’instar des 11 instruments acoustiques qu'on peut entendre sur la version la plus célèbre enregistrée en 1968, ce sont ici 11 oscillateurs d'un ensemble de deux synthétiseurs modulaires qui sont utilisés.
L'Illustratrice et plasticienne Soia a créé un alphabet de formes, qui représentent chacune des 53 cellules musicales qui composent In C.
Une relecture visuelle et électronique de cette composition évolutive, parmi les plus accessibles et généreuses de la musique contemporaine.

Julien Sénélas, Jérôme Vassereau and Soia present a new version of In C, Terry Riley's seminal work : a musical interpretation with two modular synthesizers (11 oscillators) and a graphic interpretation of the original score (53 shapes).
Composed in 1964 by Terry Riley, In C is considered as the founding work of the minimalist movement. Like the 11 acoustic instruments that can be heard on the most famous version recorded in 1968, 11 oscillators from two modular synthesizers are used here.
The illustrator and visual artist Soia has created an alphabet of shapes, which represents each of the 53 musical cells that make up In C.
A visual and electronic reinterpretation of this evolving composition, among the most accessible and generous of contemporary music.
